Allow 45 minutes for the food to be prepared as this is restaurant food ‘to go’ which is very different to ‘take away’ food. Your food will be freshly cooked from scratch and we do not par cook the meat to speed up the turnover. Note that we are happy to do deliveries within 5 minutes walk and give the discount too but most people who live further away come in to collect so they can get the discount.

Group discount offer (minimum 10 diners, no maximum)
For large groups, we offer a discount which means that you can have anything on the menu as long as you limit your group to 6 options on the table for the main course. So this means that for a group of 18 people you would have 18 mixed starter platters (or vegetarian platters) and 6 different mains, 3 portions of each. All that for £23.50 pp which is 15% cheaper than ordering a la carte (but you still benefit from being able to order a la carte and have anything you want at the set menu price)

Our real ale prices remain some of the most affordable in the city (the loyalty scheme for real ale is currently suspended until utility prices in particular have returned to more sustainable levels)
